Aviva Stadium

The Aviva Stadium is built in the heart of Dublin city, on the 4.5 acre site of the old Lansdowne Road Stadium, the oldest international rugby ground in the world. Construction was limited to the footprint of the old facility, within the existing city fabric. The design exhibits sensitivity to nearby residential streets and key views by tapering the height of the structure. GROSS. MAX. contributed to the sensitive integration of stadium, public realm, connection to public transport and riverside setting.
